school systems have short-term disability, don't they? Have you gotten info on that so you can relax a bit and not be quite so worried? (As you know, stress aggravates Crohn's).

Are you on leave and being paid right now?

As for fear of future accidents, can you consider wearing adult diapers to class? If you knew how many people had to do this to get through the day, you'd be totally surprised! There are LOTS of people with Crohn's, chronic diarrhea, urine incontinence, etc.) Wearing one (and having extra clothing and diapers in class in an emergency tote) can make you feel more secure.
