I pay 79 cents a year to hold my money together, and that also covers the rubber bands holding together bread wrappers, baggies for produce, and the occasional stack of manila files.

Seriously, I never heard that before. It boggles the mind.

One could mathematically calculate how much it would cost for rubber bands for Bill Gates, Bezos, etc.
