Addiction to plastic surgery. Others have written books about it. They are outwardly focused, ironically. They seek validation from others, become the artwork and crave attention.

35 years ago a few academic papers were published declaring tattoo addicts mentally ill. I've met 2 such addicts and can't disagree based on what i observed. Covering up the need for attention, and ironically they didn't need all the body mods to be attractive, even beautiful people.

Doctors and shrinks presumably sign off on some of these procedures. Tattoo ink is within forever, taxing the liver.

I know, I should be tolerant, and accepting.
