What gender a person asigns to itself, that depends on a load of genetic, epigenetic, hormonal and neuronal factors.

For example, IIRC male homosexuality is determined by a random epigenetic condition that either occurs or not.

Gender is really complicated.



Age, on the other hand, can be defined quantitatively by the length of the telomers in your DNA. (They get shorter over time. )
