when i cant update my venerable mac book air using mac os i may be moving to linux [View all]

and trying get apps that are as close to my mac apps . i may try fedora first and later suse . i used suse early on in my computing carrer. update : thanks to all who responded . u all are great. ill have to check out my mem size and available mem and all that happy stuff.
