They kept appointments, fixed things, and in a few cases I used a pw to update a repaired or replaced item from iCloud. Once was an iPad, and once a MacBook Air.

I change my Apple PW from time to time. If you are worried, set a new pw before going to the Apple store. Change it back when you get home.
