My Mac guru has cautioned me about an upgrade to my older Mac from High Sierra ... things like having to upgrade my entire Office Suite or losing essentially all my data. If you do upgrade to Mojave be sure to have adequate backup(s) in place. I have an iMac from late 2013. Yeah, I know its old. Just waiting for Apple to update the entire line.
