Instead, it has flash "drives", like a Macbook Air. You'll notice that the amount of secondary storage in standard configurations is far less than that of a typical hard drive. That's because flash is expensive. On the plus side, flash is fast compared to magnetic storage.

The ashtray also lacks a CD/DVD drive. If you want that, you nave to buy an external drive. Other things that don't come in the box are a keyboard and mouse. All those extras add a few hundred dollars to the basic cost of the ashtray.

I think I'll keep my old desktop, with its big, heavy tower and 1000 gigabytes of secondary storage.
