right above the "Inbox" folder, you'll see "Server Settings" where it specifies the Server Type. Your ISP will tell you how to set that up for either for IMAP or POP3 access. The info should be on their website or support wiki page, or you can contact their support for the settings or to help walk you through that.

Can you see your messages if you access the account via WebMail?
