3. I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about this -- it's not a DU problem

It is a YouTube problem. Apparently it's been going on for at several months. It's not restricted to DU, but to YouTube embeds anywhere. And it appears to affect people randomly. There seems to be some speculation that YouTube is A/B testing it on people.
