Still a laborious process of uploading your phone images to your Google drive & then downloading to your desktop.

I loved my old Galaxy Note 4! Wow, what a nice phone that was. It was 9 years old when it finally gave out. Now I have a Samsung A14, I think. I bought it online. Never buy a phone you haven't held. The button to bring up the screen is almost undetectable. I hate it but it was a quarter the cost of my old Note 4 & now that I'm retired I couldn't justify the extra cost. It didn't cause any problems when I hooked it to my desktop, though, so there is that. Good luck. I hate tech issues. Why can't it just work?
