2. I started noticing a small problem w/Google 2 - 3 weeks ago.

My selected default search prefs with Google were 30 recs and USA for the location. Now it only gives me ten recs and when go to search prefs I can use the slider to thirty but location does not open up and there is no "Save" option given either. I cleaned out my cookies but no change. This is all without logging in to my Google account. I haven't tried that yet because I don't know what updates/changes they will make. For now having only ten recs per page is not a big inconvenience and I can live with that. If anyone else has had a similar problem please add remarks. Just want to know I'm not alone. Thanks.
