The new MP more extreme than Nigel Farage who wants creationism taught in schools [View all]

It was the earth-shattering general election result that the majority of the nation failed to notice. As most eyes were on Labour’s landslide and the toppling of Conservative big beasts such as Liz Truss and Jacob Rees-Mogg, there was an equally seismic political event going on across the Irish Sea.....

The Democratic Unionist Party’s Ian Paisley Jr, the son of one of the largest political figures in Northern Irish history was ejected by the electorate and replaced by a man who some argue is now one of the most extreme MPs in Parliament...

Indeed, his opinions on social issues and the environment position him closer to the Trump-backing religious right than to Farage.

While there are some MPs that agree with Allister’s pro-life opinions on abortion, his anti net zero stance on the environment and even on how life on earth was created, there are few, if any, that agree with his views on all three issues.
