Ford was the kid who watched the other dealers sell marijuana in high school on behalf of his boss the mid level dealer. So he has previous management experience he did not share with us when he ran for premier. Someone wrote an article on it years ago, long before he ran. He did not sue. It comes up every so often. He thinks he is going to be PM but was so unpopular when he was first elected and did libertarian things that it scared him. He has stuck to Trudeau like glue on COVID (Premier Kenney of Alberta, a conservative in the right wing Republican mold, tried to lift the rule that people with active covid cases had to shelter at home and could then walk around the community infecting others. That was not popular). I can see Doug Ford doing something for the healthcare workers. I think he would get 'killed' by his own team if he raised anybody's wages though.... you are right about that.
