How To Vote [View all]

I've been hearing a lot of concern about voting restrictions, so I stopped by the local Elections Canada office today and got some very helpful information from the staff there. In addition to the handouts they gave me about acceptable ID and voting by mail, they pointed me to their website. This page should answer -- or point you to the answer for -- any question you might have:

I was pleased to learn that there are somewhat reasonable provisions for homeless voters, voters who lack photo ID, voters who live on reserves, and voters living in temporary housing.

I have some senior friends who were worried about getting to their polling places on election day, and now they have several options to ensure their votes are cast.
