5. I actually had two positive experiences. First was on the hydroplane, going from Bar Harbor to N.S.

Fog all around, so nothing to see. The boat had a couple of .25 slot machines. So out of boredom, Three or four bucks became around $40.

Second, London. Last night in the city. Joyce was tired and went to bed. It was around 9:00. I decided to walk around the neighborhood a bit. I stop in a pub with about Lb100. So I would need a few Lbs for breakfast and then on the train. So, "What da hell..." Lb50 ithe slot machine and not waste time at an exchange kiosk.

About (-) 5lbs later, I hit for around Lbs120 or so. And I have more time on my hands so now to the casino for an hour or so.

It was my Lucky night. I walked back to the hotel with Lbs 3,800 from playing roulette.

That was 12 years ago. I haven't patronized a casino or slot machine since.
