1. Will (or can) this be appealed to the Supreme Court?

It is a state court interpretation of a state constitution. That gives me shivers if the Supreme Court can override the state court by either offering up their own interpretation of a state constitution clause or by deeming a state constitution federally unconstitutional. Since the SCOTUS is so anti-women's rights, the SCOTUS would jump at the chance to control state laws and constitutions using pro white male supremacy as a litmus test.
