Ask the union carriers if they can see an end in sight to the current level of service. They're the people who are where the rubber and shoe leather meet the roads and sidewalks. Mr Dejoy's ideas may work with parcel shipping where prompt service isn't as important as lower costs. The thing is that his experience with XPO isn't what applies well to the USPS. Everybody can be reached by a letter carrier or rural route carrier six days a week so they expect service, not excuses or promises of better days ahead.
