Ben Jones (D) wins election as Dane County circuit court judge [View all]

MADISON (WKOW) — Ben Jones has won a seat as a Dane County circuit court judge following Tuesday's spring election.

Jones, the incumbent, faced a challenge from Huma Ahsan. Ahsan ran on her experience in immigration law and her past in tribal law.

Jones was appointed by Gov. Tony Evers in 2025. He has experience as a staff attorney and chief legal counsel at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

As of 10:25 p.m., Jones had collected 55.55% of the vote with 97% reporting.
