King County saw a slight increase in its median home prices last month as the housing market in other parts of Washington favored buyers, according to Northwest Multiple Listing Service data released Wednesday.

The December median sales price across 27 counties analyzed by the NWMLS was $612,250, down 1.8% from a year earlier.

In the Puget Sound region, King County home prices grew from $800,000 in December 2024 to $808,500 last month.

Kitsap County saw its median prices tick up to $575,000, and Thurston County was also up slightly to $520,500.

Pierce and Snohomish counties’ median prices, however, fell year-over-year to $550,000 and $730,000 last month, respectively. The median prices include single-family homes and condos.
