One of the poorest areas in New England. I have no idea how they'd find enough trees and people to build as many wreaths as they do to be honest.

Been up in that part of ME many vacations. Only work up there of any consistency was tourist related (summer), blue berry picking (fall) and tree cuttings and wreath making (winter). Blue berry picking used to be a migrant farmer activity (displacing the local workers). Pay was miserable and work was hard (ground blue berries require a lot of stooping). Now it's mostly done by machines, which are less efficient.
