2. I'm a Maryland transplant, moved here in 2004, but...

the first time I was in Richmond (before I moved to VA) was with my parents to protest the war in Iraq. The march led us down Monument Ave. I was stunned by all the revere for traitors, I mean I know Richmond was the heart of the confederacy, but to see it in person was breathtaking and eye opening.

Times are a changing and I'm glad to see it.
