Their slightest fears are fed and enhanced. They are convinced that those 'warning' them can 'fix' it all by allowing these same snakes to get into the government and then their 'fears' will be taken care of. They never realize that their 'fears' are how those snakes control the sheep and will never be 'taken care of'. But, it is easier than accepting that those long held and generationally taught biases are worse than evil... far easier...
