1. Legislators should keep their hands off

When legislators get involved with mapping their own districts - this is what leads to gerrymandering. There should never be any elected officials involved in the process. It took over 8 years to undo the damage from last time. Don't start it all over again!

Let's make this very simple: Any politicians who are involved in drawing up the map should be barred from running in the districts they helped to draw up.
