17. It's a holiday here, not that it makes a lot of difference!

We celebrate Labor Day on May 1 here. Our younger daughter is driving up from Frankfurt (about 2 hours) with her daughter (almost 2). Her second one is due in a month. I think we're far from being out of the woods, alas. Until the Germans can get their act together and get people tested on a mass basis, uncertainty will continue to reign, and things won't even approach getting to normal for a long time. The economy will do its best not to collapse in the meantime, but a LOT of people are hurting right now.
