9. I'm certainly not on the Kasich for anything committee.

but I'll have to say he's the best republican governor I've seen here in my lifetime. That field includes Kent State killer James A Rhodes and Tom Delay conspirator Bob Taft, so that's a low bar to hurdle, but aside from some overreach on public unions in his debut year, he's walked a moderate fence. The exception to that moderation is abortion. The anti-abortion movement has no greater friend than John Kasich. His fanatical religious beliefs that overshadow even Sam Brownback are one good reason to keep hm out of the White House

Though I'd actually be alright with another term compared to some former governors, we can and must do better. Richard Cordray, the former head of the CFPA is a hopeful candidate this fall. He's likely running against Mike DeWine, a republican with great name recognition in Ohio.

Still, I look for a change for the better in the Buckeye state this fall.
