I enjoy reading about what is occurring throughout the country and visiting the local news sites along with some of the alternative media sites, NPR and a few television stations provides a wealth of information about politics, the human interest stories, and the occasional cat story. I think that most of us appreciate reading articles that touch close to home so I'm trying to fill that niche.
Most importantly, welcome to DU. I hope that you are finding a great source for news, discussion and possibly a few laughs. The site can become addictive so I hope that you make some friends too!
