1. The results of the NC Supreme Court judge battle here is one reason I suspect hanky panky

with the voting in NC.

The incumbent Republican judge, Edmunds, was running ads all over TV for at least a month before
the election. He must have had outside money to do it. I think I saw one ad for the Dem challenger, Morgan,
the day before the election. No name recognition, no ad support. No D or R behind the names on the ballot, either.

Trump beat Hillary here by about 175,000 votes.

Cooper (D) beat McCrory (R), the incumbent governor, by about 4700 votes on election day, but counting provisionals
and absentee ballots has upped his margin now to almost 8,000 votes, but McCrory has yet to concede and has filed
complaints and challenges up the wazoo.

So, the judge position---which swings control of the NC Supreme Court from R to D if the D wins?

The challenging Dem, Morgan,(who also happens to be a black man) BEAT the incumbent, $$ supported Repub by almost 350,000 votes, and he only got about 29,000 fewer votes
than Hillary, without a straight ticket vote, no name recognition, and no identifying (D) behind his name. WTF?

Very bizarre and difficult to explain outcome, for me anyway.
