The results are immediately tabulated and sent to the State Board Of Elections. They have been in use less than ten years and were a major upgrade at the time.
To me this proposed change is the clandestine GOPers trying to impose changes that are not just expensive but unnecessary and evidence of a systemic power grab over the election board.
Why are they fixing what 'ain't broke' if not to shore up some soft power somewhere?
The whole thing seems fishy.
