4. We didn't lose power yesterday, but it was close - the lights kept dipping and cable went out twice

But that's only because this is a newer area with cables underground. I keep going back to Hurricane Irene when this area was devastated - and many lost power for days. And I went to Vermont shortly afterwards and the roads were washed out and cabins on Lake Champlain were completely washed away. And now they're saying that this is worse for Vermont than Irene, especially Montpelier, where they've declared a state of emergency. It's not over yet, but we were lucky here this time.
