a rather unusual storm w/ all of the lightning and I didn't take my dogs outside for their usual break (have 3 of them, 2 of whom wouldn't go outside anyways due to the thunder and lightning). I really hadn't seen so much lightning in quite a while, it would have been somewhat nice to watch but kind of dangerous really w/ all of the lightning.

On one outing (a five minute trip to go to Burger King by the house to get a quick meal), by the time I got home, parked in the garage, the rains (very heavy) had started up yet again! I was trapped in the garage for about 15 minutes until it abated enough so I could run up to the house and get in quickly. These periodic heavy spells of rain was something else too.
