Republicans (and I am assuming it is the folks in this article are why we are a red state!!) say they don't want government to be involved in anything...but here they are expecting them to control nature and water. And then they also want the government to focus on THEIR personal property, never mind about the others around them or the wildlife that lives here, too. AND then, they want all of this expensive stuff to be done...but they don't want to pay any taxes to pay for it.

Maybe it is just too early in the morning, but this sounds like a bunch of selfish, uneducated people who refuse to acknowledge the planet is changing (and let's not even think about telling them why) and that the government is broke because of the way they have been voting the past couple of decades.
