2. FYI for those reading, this is in Springfield MO (not IL). I hope they pass. SW Missouri is not...

known for passing (or for that matter, lots of areas in MO) bonds to improve our schools. St. Louis had a dickens of a time passing theirs and finally did in 2016, first time in 25 years. Fortunately, one thing that's helping is that a lot of the older school buildings aren't just being left to rot (not used no longer, not enough kids enrolled) but instead, are being converted to lofts, condos, etc.
