Hopefully I'm filling a niche that is useful for everyone. I know that DU is a source of news for many people. I frequently see stories on DU before they appear elsewhere on the news. I try to mix it up with a variety of serious news along with some personal interest stories because we need some good news now that the country is run by Republicans.
