4. None of this is a surprise to me.....I grew up in the Bible Belt.

I guarantee you the attitudes of this young man are very common in this America. It is generational. These kids assimilate politically into the society in which they live. It's very much like religion...if you grow up in a Catholic family you will be Catholic, Baptist.... Baptist.... Muslim.... Muslim.

Unless and until you are exposed to diversity of ideas then it is all you know. The Rural/Urban_Suburban divide is the same.

This is America....this is who we are....bigotry, racism, homophobia...they are seems normal when everyone around you is like that. Indoctrination at a very young age affect people for the rest of their lives.

In 1950, about 90% of America was white....that has now dropped to about 60% and that is viewed as a threat by many white people and they will not willingly concede power or societal advantage without a fight.

It's sad, it's wrong, it has always been a battle....but it is real.

The battle continues... ❤️ RESIST!! ✊️
