That they believe a lack of SROs will let troublemakers cause more violence. The SROs are the lesser evil.

Also they would like to see changes in administration and teachers. I am not so sure about teachers but I would agree the school district administration needs serious overhauling. We have a habit of hiring overpaid superintendents who use the St Paul district as a stepping stone to something bigger and leave after very short tenure.

Our public school teachers feel they get no support from the administration. They are expected to just deal with problems but if they try to impose any discipline will be sold out in a heart beat.
