Is saying closing the schools would do more harm than good. Their reasoning is children seem to be resistant to the disease but closing schools would ripple through health care as many providers would have to stay home to care for their children.

Also a factor is the schools are providing meals that many children would miss because their families could not afford to feed them.

That is a very sad situation.
