Denise Mentzer had a close call in 2024 by only winning by 1.4 points that year despite outspending her opponent by over a 15 to 1 ratio, and I think this is a district that Donald Trump won in 2024 (but I am not positive of this), so this is certainly an important Defense race to work on this cycle. I would also like to add that the whole of MI HD-61 is within MI-10's boundaries, so there is *plenty* of upballot benefits for supporting Denise Mentzer's campaign.

It seems that there is some more interest in Defense races here than in a lot of the other allied forums and groups, which is a good thing, as proper efforts to secure these critical holds will save us a lot of grief in the future.

I will certainly return at the end of the month to take another look to see how donations/volunteer efforts are best used here.
