1. My first job ever

was selling peanuts, scorecards and gum in the Fenway Park stands. At 14, I could work day games so I got to see the 1961 All Star Game up close and was able to get within close staring distance to Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle that day.

Great fun, lousy pay at 5% commission, but got see all the home games free.
