Oh, what a scene it was, back in the day. From star-spotting at the El Morocco to fine dining at Putnam & Thurston's. The Worcester area maintains a vibrant food scene today, but with the passage of time, some of those legendary places to meet and eat have gone away, leaving only pleasantly-digested memories. Here's a look back at a few of the ones that really hit the spot.

I remember quite a few of these. My mother actually worked at Ovide's in Sturbridge for a while and that is where we went out to eat after our prom back in the day
