Missiles launched against US targets and an invasion of the South. I would expect a US response to be return missile attack and land reinforcements to the South.

If the missile response is proportional and the ground war holds to the present borders, China may not react. They have problems with Kim too. China does not want refugees from North Korea and they want a buffer.

Still, best if Kim can be contained without hostilities.
