but maybe having a discussion with the neighbor is more appropriate? Or if the neighbor is being a public nuisance then call the police. If the neighbor was within his legal rights then this might be one of those occasions when the serenity prayer is in order.

I'm also grateful that he didn't have a weapon, but egging the neighbor's house is an act of immaturity.
