Their body heat combined with direct sun, high humidity and high ambient temperature can cause lethal heat stress. Factor in continued windless, cloudless days and the death toll will grow worse, effecting even the healthiest. Remember, essentially, all of the beef in your grocery's meat department comes from these feedlots.
