I grew up in Waukesha Wisconsin, which used to be a town filled with union workers, now it is a right wing hellscape.

Lived in Madison for 11 years. Would go back if we could.

Lived 9 years in Northern Illinois...that was OK too.

Iowa? Small town, we're not "from here", so it's hard sometimes. Also, I'm one of a very few liberals around here.
