One of the underlying motivations for Whitaker was McCoy's sexual orientation, or so I have been told. McCoy is openly gay and the xtian fascists couldn't stand the thought of a successful gay man in politics. So Whitaker Marshalls the forces of the US Justice Department to take him down.
