And discover that there is no end to the blindness I have had for my 53 years on this planet! I am ashamed of myself. Now I am starting to have thoughts like I had when a dog training buddy of mine mentioned entering a dog agility event about 4 hours away I thought "Shit! She's going to 'driving while black' all that way, will she be safe? Before Trump it hadn't dawned on me that there isn't much safety for minorities under any circumstances, not even for a highly educated professional woman.
