My husband and I volunteered for one of Kasten’s primary opponents in the 2018 election - Kelly Mazeski. There were way too many candidates in that primary. Kasten won it by 1,790 votes - Kasten 19,774 to Mazeski 17,984. 4 other women and one other man split up almost 30,000 votes amongst them. It would have been interesting to see how things would have turned out had just Kasten and Mazeski been in the race.
