4. I think she needs to be enlightened

I know there are many white people who have had tough lives. Even some who have felt marginalized or the victims of raw deals. That’s not what we’re talking about when we talk about white privilege.

We need to ask her if she has ever been denied service simply because she is white; or been followed suspiciously in a store just because she is white; or stopped repeatedly by cops while driving or standing in a group just because she is white; or been incarcerated for seemingly nothing just because she is white; or told she is lazy just because she is white

I don’t think she understands the concept. Don’t fire her, educate her.
