I was close to the capitol podium at President's Kennedy 1961 inauguration. It was very cold and he took the oath without an overcoat. And gave us a hopeful and inspiring speech. What a memory; our nation was blessed for too brief a time with a great Democrat who made the nation proud. We are blessed now to inaugurate for a second term a President who with our help we believe will bring hope and inspiration to our nation and the world.
