All this suffering in the unburned parts of West Maui is so unnecessary. People can't get their insulin!

I don't understand why they are barring locals from coming and going down the highway. There is little danger of them or anyone going into Lahaina. They're wrapping Lahaina in barbed wire to keep people out while they are sifting the ashes for human remans. There is nothing left to loot in Lahaina anyway.
